Join the Cottonwood Cove Team as our new Summer Administrative Assistant! Work in paradise everyday at one of the most beautiful resorts in the Shuswap!

Position: Summer Temporary Part-Time could lead to Full-Time

The Opportunity: Fortune Marketing of Kelowna, BC is looking for a temporary Administrative Assistant to assist at our marketed real estate developments located at Cottonwood Cover RV Resort on Shuswap Lake. This position is temporary part-time including weekends and could also be on an on-call basis leading into full-time. The successful candidate will be available approximately July 1st until September 15th, 2018.

Key Responsibilities

You will work closely with the Fortune Marketing Sales & Marketing departments. You will be responsible to assist our Property Specialists, Marketing Manager, and Sales Manager.

Sales Coordination

  • Greet potential purchasers interested in RV Lots
  • Provide product knowledge, and advise if unsure a follow up
  • Register prospects in the CRM system and advise Property Specialist
  • Collect and maintain data in the CRM system
  • Work closely with the on-site Property Specialist to assist and coordinate with the execution & follow up of documents, and deposits when necessary
  • Follow up with additional paperwork to purchasers and developer
  • Book Site tours when necessary

Office Administration

  • Assist the Property Specialist and Marketing Manager in event coordination and planning
  • Maintain presentation centre is kept clean and presentable
  • Answer phone, check messages and emails
  • Maintain filing systems, both electronically and on print
  • Attend meetings
  • Photography for social media and marketing
  • Stock and maintain marketing material, notify Sales Manager when low on material

  • Personable and friendly; goes out of their way to create an optimistic experience

  • Experience in real estate is an asset
  • Experience in Microsoft Office, Adobe
  • Reliable transportation, valid driver’s licence

  • Other duties as required
  • Must love dogs (seriously…we have an office dog!)
